Short version: your videos never leave your computer. has no server that processes video, no accounts, no cookies of its own, no analytics and no ads. What you make and type is stored in your own browser, where only you can reach it.
Your videos
When you choose a video, your browser reads it from your disk. Listening to it (speech recognition), finding moments, face detection, drawing captions and encoding the clips all run inside the browser tab, using your computer's processor and graphics card. The video and the clips are never uploaded.
What is stored, and where
Everything below is kept in this browser on this computer. We never receive it.

To delete it, open the studio, press the storage button in the top bar (Your data) and choose Delete everything, or clear this site's data in your browser settings. The same panel downloads a backup file of your details (without the videos), which you can restore later.
Connections the site makes

Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your IP address and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under its own privacy policy. It may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it suspects automated traffic. |
| Hugging Face (huggingface.co and its file servers) | The first time you make clips, your browser downloads the open speech model (OpenAI Whisper) from Hugging Face. Hugging Face sees your IP address and which model files were downloaded, under its own privacy policy. No video or audio is sent. |
| Sites you open from links | Program sites in Who pays and the posting links in Post open only when you click them. |
The site's security policy tells your browser to refuse any other connection, so even a mistake in the code could not send your data elsewhere.
What we do not do
- No analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting or advertising.
- No cookies set by the site.
- No selling or sharing of data: we do not have any.
Children
The site is not aimed at children. Most programs that pay for clips require you to be 18 or older.
